So here's my honest take on Coyote Calls. I've tested a bunch of hunting apps and this one's pretty solid. The call library is impressive and the solunar/wind data is genuinely helpful. It's not the most polished app out there, but it gets the job done. Probably not worth paying for the premium version unless you're a hardcore hunter, but the free version is definitely worth a download.

Pros

  • Tons of different coyote and predator calls to choose from
  • Solunar data and wind direction info are really useful hunting tools
  • Free to download and use, no need to pay to get the core features
  • Decent performance, runs smoothly even on older phones

Cons

  • Ads can get a bit annoying if you don't pay for the premium version
  • Hunting call playback options are a little basic, could use more customization
  • Doesn't have a ton of depth or features beyond the core hunting tools

Description

Been using Coyote Calls for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that gives you all sorts of hunting calls to use when you’re out coyote hunting. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you can browse through a bunch of different coyote and predator calls, then play them back at different timing and looping options. There’s also solunar data to help you figure out the best times to hunt based on the moon cycles. And the wind direction feature is pretty cool – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re into hunting and need some new tools, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
