Been using Salt Strong Smart Spots for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you find the best places to go saltwater fishing. Basically you open it up and it shows you all the good spots for catching fish like redfish, trout, snook, and flounder. There’s a bunch of map layers like oyster beds, seagrass, underwater contours, and their own ‘Smart Spots’ that tell you where the fish are gonna be. Pretty cool stuff.
Here’s what you do – you just punch in your location and it shows you all the good fishing spots around you. There’s also tides, weather, and fish activity info, which is super helpful for planning your trips. It uses AI and human intel to predict where the fish will be feeding. Takes some of the guesswork out of it.
Look, if you’re a saltwater angler, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this app. It’s not perfect – the UI is a little clunky and the free version is a bit limited. But overall it does the job and helps me catch more fish than I would without it. Worth checking out if you’re into that kind of thing.
