So here's my honest take on Unfolded - Unfold Counter. I've tested a bunch of utility apps like this and this one's pretty good overall. The unfold tracking is really neat and the data it provides is pretty cool if you're into that. It's not gonna change your life or anything, but it's a solid little app that does what it says. My only real complaint is the hinge angle tracker could be more accurate, but I get that it's a tricky thing to measure. If you use a foldable phone, this is worth checking out.

Pros

  • Tons of useful data on your daily and total unfolds
  • Tracks the duration of each fold/unfold
  • Displays the current hinge angle (though it's not perfect)
  • Free to use, no need to pay anything
  • Simple and straightforward to use

Cons

  • Hinge angle tracker is a bit finicky and doesn't work great on all phones
  • Gets a little repetitive after a while, not a ton of long-term engagement
  • Ads can be a bit annoying if you don't pay to remove them

Description

I’ve been using Unfolded – Unfold Counter for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that tracks how many times you unfold your foldable phone each day. Pretty solid if you’re into that kinda stuff.

Here’s what you can do: there’s a daily unfold count, total unfold count, average unfolds per day, and even a projection of how many unfolds you’ll do in a year. It’s got a cool feature that tracks the duration of each fold/unfold too. And you can see the current angle of your phone’s hinge – though that doesn’t work perfectly on all devices.

Look, if you’re rocking a foldable phone and want to geek out over the stats, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the hinge angle tracking could be better – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re curious about your unfolding habits.
