So here's my take on Internet Speed Meter. I've tested a bunch of internet monitoring apps and this one's pretty solid. The real-time speed tracking in the status bar is super convenient, and the data usage graphs are helpful for keeping an eye on your plan. And the notification dialog with the usage graph is a nice little bonus feature too. On the downside, the free version has ads that can get a bit intrusive, and the pro upgrade is kinda pricey if you don't need all the extra features. But if you just want a simple way to keep tabs on your connectivity, this is a pretty good option.

Description

Been using Internet Speed Meter for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you monitor your internet speed and data usage right from your phone’s status bar and notification tray. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do – it shows your real-time download and upload speeds up top, so you can keep an eye on your connection. There’s also a daily data usage tracker, which is handy if you’re on a limited plan. And it has separate stats for Wi-Fi and mobile data, so you can see which one’s eating up more.

Look, if you’re the kind of person who’s always checking your speeds and data, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay for the pro version. But overall it does the job and it’s free, so worth checking out.
