Been using Coin ID – Coin Identifier for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you scan coins with your camera and tells you all about them – the value, history, and details. Pretty solid if you’re into numismatics or just collecting coins as a hobby.
Here’s what you do: you just take a pic of the coin and the app identifies it. There’s also a database with info on tons of different coins, which is pretty cool. And you can even set up notifications to track the value of your collection over time – took me a while to figure that out but it’s a useful feature.
Look, if you’re into collecting coins or just curious about the value of old coins you’ve got, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the AI can mess up the identification sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re a coin nerd like me.
