So here's my honest take on Gluten Dude: GF Restaurants. I've tested a bunch of restaurant/food apps and this one's pretty solid if you need to find safe gluten-free options. The database of vetted spots is legit, and the app's easy to use. But it does have some limitations - the selection is a bit slim in some areas and the design could use an update. Still, if you're strict about avoiding gluten, this is a helpful tool to have.

Description

Been using Gluten Dude: GF Restaurants for a couple months now. It’s basically a directory of gluten-free friendly restaurants that are personally vetted by the app creator. Pretty solid app if you’re on a gluten-free diet and need to eat out safely.

Here’s what you do: you can search for restaurants by location or cuisine, and it’ll show you all the GF-friendly spots in the area. And there’s also a map view which is pretty cool. And you can save your favorite places – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re on a gluten-free diet, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – there’s not a ton of restaurants in some areas – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
