In my experience, HD Video Player All Format is one of the better video apps I've used on Android. I've tested a bunch of these types of apps and a lot of them are either too basic or packed with ads and sketchy permissions. But this one seems to hit a nice balance - it's got all the features you'd want without being overly complicated. The private folder is a nice touch and the performance has been reliable. Only real downside is the UI could be more user-friendly, but I got used to it after a bit. If you need a one-stop shop for playing all your videos, this is a pretty solid option.

Description

I’ve been using HD Video Player All Format for a couple months now. It’s basically an all-in-one video player that can handle pretty much any video file you throw at it – 4K, HD, you name it. Tried it out after my old video player was giving me a hard time with some MKV files.

The main thing is you can play all your videos, whether they’re on your phone, SD card, or even network drives. There’s also a private folder where you can set a password to hide personal videos. Kinda handy if you’ve got some, you know, embarrassing stuff you don’t want people seeing. Oh, and it’s got subtitle support too which is clutch.

Look, if you’re like me and you’ve got a ton of random video files from different sources, this is a pretty solid option. It’s not perfect – the UI could be a little more intuitive – but overall it gets the job done. Worth checking out if you need a reliable video player for your Android device.
