So here's my take on the Zelus WBGT app. I've tested a bunch of weather and safety apps, and this one stands out for the comprehensive set of features it packs in. The real-time WBGT tracking is super useful, and the lightning alerts have actually come in handy a few times. The air quality monitoring is a nice bonus too. In my experience, the data is generally pretty accurate, though the lightning detection can be spotty at times. The UI isn't the most intuitive, but once you get used to it, it's not too bad. Overall, if you need an all-in-one solution for managing outdoor environmental risks, Zelus WBGT is definitely worth a look.

Description

Been using the Zelus WBGT app for a couple months now. It’s basically an environmental safety tool that gives you real-time data on weather conditions like heat, lightning, and air quality. Sounds kinda boring, I know, but it’s actually pretty useful if you’re into outdoor stuff like sports, construction, or military operations.

The app’s got a bunch of features – you can track the WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) which is the gold standard for heat safety, get lightning strike alerts, and monitor local air quality. There’s also some risk management tools to help you plan your activities based on the conditions. Took me a while to figure out all the different metrics but once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty straightforward.

Look, if you need to stay on top of environmental conditions for work or just wanna stay safe when you’re out and about, this app is worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky and the lightning detection isn’t 100% reliable – but overall it does a solid job. Definitely better than trying to track all this stuff manually.
