Been playing Downwell for a couple months now. It’s basically a crazy action game where you fall down a well, blasting monsters with your Gunboots. Pretty solid if you’re into roguelike platformers.
Here’s what you do – you just keep falling down, shooting stuff with your Gunboots to slow your descent. There’s also shops where you can buy helpful items, and different weapon types to find. And the levels are randomized, so no two runs are the same. It’s got a nice retro vibe too.
Look, if you’re into tough-but-fair action games, you’ll probably like Downwell. It’s not perfect – can get repetitive after a while – but overall it’s a really fun time-waster. Worth checking out for sure.
