I’ve been playing Tasty Planet: Back for Seconds for a couple months now. It’s basically a game where you control this little ball of grey goo that can eat anything smaller than itself. The more you eat, the bigger you get – it’s pretty crazy watching your little goo turn into a planet-sized monster!
There’s a ton of stuff to eat too – you start off small, eating rats and stuff, but soon you’re munching on dinosaurs, gladiators, hovercars, you name it. And the game takes you through six different time periods, like Ancient Egypt and Feudal Japan, and you just go around gobbling everything up. It’s a really fun, addictive gameplay loop.
Look, if you’re into these sort of strategy/simulation games, you’ll probably get a kick out of Tasty Planet. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever and the ads can get annoying – but overall it’s a pretty solid time-waster that I’ve been enjoying a lot.
