So here's my take on Rusty Lake Hotel. I've tested a bunch of point-and-click adventure games and this one's definitely one of the better ones. The art style and soundtrack are top-notch, and the puzzles are challenging but fair. The story is super dark and intriguing, too - you'll find yourself getting more and more invested as you unravel the mysteries of the hotel. Not gonna lie, some of the plot twists got me good. The only real downside is that the pacing can drag a bit, especially in the middle. But if you stick with it, the payoff is worth it.

Description

Been playing Rusty Lake Hotel for a couple months now. It’s basically a creepy point-and-click adventure game where you play hotel manager and have to make sure all the guests have a pleasant stay. And by that, I mean making sure every dinner is worth dying for. There’s a ton of weird, surreal puzzles to solve across 6 different rooms, plus an engaging (and pretty messed up) story with the hotel staff and guests. Took me a while to figure some of it out, but it’s a solid challenge.

The game’s got cool, atmospheric graphics and an impressive soundtrack that really sets the mood. You can pick it up and play for a few minutes or get sucked in for hours – it’s that addicting. There’s also achievements and an art gallery to unlock, which is a nice bonus.

Look, if you’re into creepy, twisted point-and-click adventures, you’ll probably love Rusty Lake Hotel. It’s not perfect – the pacing can feel a bit slow at times – but overall it’s a really unique experience that’ll keep you hooked.
