So here's my honest take on Beholder. I've tested a bunch of strategy games and this one's pretty unique. The way it has you trying to balance the moral tightrope is quite smart and makes for some really interesting decisions. You never know if you should follow the rules or help your tenants, and those choices impact how the story unfolds. The graphics and gameplay are solid too. It's not perfect - it can get grindy at times - but it's an addictive experience that strategy fans will enjoy.

Description

Been playing Beholder for a couple months now. It’s basically a dystopian strategy game where you play as the manager of an apartment building, but your real job is to spy on your tenants for the totalitarian state. Sounds dark, but it’s actually pretty addicting.

Here’s what you do: you gotta keep your building running smoothly, making sure the tenants are happy. But at the same time, you’re supposed to be watching them and reporting on their activities to the government. There’s also a bunch of moral choices you have to make – do you help people even though it goes against the rules, or do you play by the state’s oppressive laws? It’s a constant balancing act.

Look, if you’re into strategy games with a heavy focus on moral dilemmas, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and it can get a bit repetitive after a while. But overall, it’s a pretty solid game that’ll keep you coming back.
