So here's my take on Super Onion Boy+. I've tested a bunch of 2D platformers and this one stands out for its charming pixel art style and challenging boss battles. And the gameplay is pretty simple but satisfying, with a good mix of classic platforming and unique power-ups. The difficulty can be unforgiving at times, but I found the sense of accomplishment when you finally beat a tough level to be really rewarding. Not gonna lie, it gets a little repetitive after a while, but if you're looking for an old-school platforming fix, this is a pretty solid option.

Description

Been playing Super Onion Boy+ for a couple months now. It’s basically a retro-style platformer where you play as this little onion dude on a quest to rescue the princess. The graphics are super cute – all pixel art with a classic 8-bit chiptune soundtrack.

Here’s what you do: you run, jump, and fight your way through levels filled with enemies and traps. And there’s also power-ups you can collect like magical potions that give you special abilities. And you gotta take on these giant boss monsters at the end of each world – that’s where the real challenge comes in.

Look, if you’re into old-school platformers, you’ll probably have a blast with this. It’s not perfect – the difficulty spikes can be frustrating at times – but overall it’s a pretty solid retro-inspired adventure. Worth checking out, especially if you’re a fan of pixel art games.
