I've tested a bunch of mobile platformers and Frog Hop is one of the better ones I've come across. The gameplay is really tight and responsive, with a good amount of challenge without feeling unfair. I like the quirky art style and the catchy music in each level. And in my experience, the replayability is pretty solid too thanks to the different charms you can buy to change up your playstyle. Sure, it has its flaws - the difficulty does spike at times and the grind for upgrades can get old. But if you're a fan of classic platformers, I'd say Frog Hop is worth your time.

Description

Been playing Frog Hop for a couple months now. It’s basically a classic adventure platforming game where you play as a frog named Hoppy trying to find his friend Jumpy. Pretty cute and quirky overall.

So the main thing you do is swing and launch yourself through levels using your frog’s tongue. And there’s all kinds of gimmicks, enemies, and obstacles to deal with – it keeps things fresh because you’re constantly encountering new challenges. And the boss fights are actually pretty unique and challenging too.

Look, if you’re into retro-style platformers, you’ll probably dig Frog Hop. It’s not perfect – some of the levels can get a bit repetitive after a while and the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it’s a solid game that’s worth checking out, especially if you’re looking for something lighthearted and fun.
