So here's my honest take on Radiant. I've tested a bunch of arcade shooter apps and this one's pretty solid. The gameplay is really tight and satisfying, with tons of strategic depth without being overwhelming. And the graphics look great, even on my older phone. The free-to-play model is also fair - you don't feel pressured to spend money to enjoy it. That said, the upgrade system can get a little grindy at higher levels, and the repetitive nature of the levels means it might get old after a while. But overall, it's a really fun game that scratches that classic arcade itch.

Description

Been using Radiant for a couple months now. It’s basically a classic arcade-style space shooter where you take on hordes of aliens and giant boss battles. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of retro-style gameplay.

Here’s what you do: you pilot your ship and blast through tons of enemies, collecting power-ups and upgrades along the way. And there’s also a leveling system where you can unlock new weapons and ship abilities. And the boss fights are pretty epic – you really gotta strategize to take these things down.

Look, if you’re into arcade shooters, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the difficulty ramps up pretty fast and the upgrades can take a while – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want some old-school space combat action.
