So here's my take on Unruly Heroes. I've tested a bunch of strategy games on mobile and this one's pretty solid. The combat feels responsive and there's a good amount of depth to the base building and character upgrades. I like the art style too - it's got a fun, lighthearted vibe that matches the story. The clan battles are the real highlight for me, working together with friends to take down tough opponents. On the downside, the grind can get a little repetitive after a while and the monetization is a bit pushy if you don't want to pay. But for a free game, it's honestly one of the better strategy experiences I've found on mobile.

Description

Been playing Unruly Heroes for a couple months now. It’s basically a 2D action-adventure game inspired by the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West. The story’s pretty funny and the artwork looks great.

Here’s what you do: you build up your village, train different characters, and then go raid other players’ bases. There’s also a clan system where you team up with friends to take on tougher challenges. It’s got a good mix of strategy and fast-paced combat. Took me a while to figure out all the mechanics but it’s pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it.

Look, if you’re into strategy games with a fantasy theme, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying. But overall it’s a solid game that’s worth checking out, especially if you’re a fan of the source material.
