Been playing Twilight Struggle for a couple months now. It’s basically a historical strategy game where you control one of the two superpowers (US or USSR) during the Cold War. The goal is to spread your political influence around the world before your opponent does.
Here’s what you do: you’ve got a deck of event cards that let you either boost your influence in different countries or try to stage coups. There’s also the nuclear threat – if either side pushes things too far, it’s game over. Took me a while to figure out all the mechanics but it’s pretty deep once you get the hang of it.
Look, if you’re into strategy games with a historical twist, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the learning curve can be a bit steep and it gets a little repetitive after a while – but overall it’s a solid experience. Worth checking out for sure.
