Been using Forward Chess – Book Reader for a couple months now. It’s basically an interactive chess book app where you can read the book, play through the lines, and even try your own variations. Pretty solid app if you’re into chess.
Here’s what you do: you can flip through the pages of chess books, and there’s a chessboard where you can move the pieces and play out the lines. It’s got this Stockfish engine built-in, which is like one of the best chess AIs, so you can get an analysis of the moves anytime. That’s pretty cool.
Look, if you’re into chess and want an app that’s got the book, the board, and the analysis all in one place, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the UI takes some getting used to – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
