So here's my honest take on Kahoot! Big Numbers: DragonBox. I've tested a bunch of math learning apps and this one's one of the better ones I've seen. And the gameplay is really engaging and the production value is top-notch. It's not as comprehensive as some of the more expensive apps out there, but for the age group it's targeted at, it hits the sweet spot. The only real downside is the subscription requirement, but if you can get past that, it's a pretty solid option.

Description

Been playing Kahoot! Big Numbers: DragonBox for a couple months now. It’s basically a math learning game that teaches kids how to work with big numbers in a really engaging way. The whole thing takes place in this magical land called Noomia, and your job is to help the characters there with their math problems.

Here’s what you do: there are mini-games where you have to do long additions and subtractions, figure out place values, and all sorts of other number-crunching activities. There’s also a story mode which is pretty cool. And the graphics are super colorful and vibrant – it really draws the kids in.

Look, if you’ve got young kids who are learning math, you’ll probably want to check this out. It’s not perfect – the subscription model is a bit annoying – but overall it does a great job of making big numbers less scary and more fun to work with.
