So here's my honest take on Blade Night : Rhythm Saber. I've tested a bunch of rhythm games and this one's pretty solid. The gameplay loop of slashing arrows to the beat is really satisfying, and I like the Star Wars theme. The visuals and music are also top-notch. But it can get repetitive after a while, and the progression system is a bit grindy. Overall though, it's a fun time-killer that I'd recommend giving a shot.

Description

Been playing Blade Night : Rhythm Saber for a couple months now. It’s basically a music game where you slash colored arrows with your lightsaber to the beat. Pretty solid app if you’re into rhythm/music games.

Here’s what you do: You play as a boyfriend who has to fight off indie enemies on the way to a party. You slash the colored arrows and avoid the black ones to the beat of Y2K pop songs. And there’s also a combo system that gives you higher scores, which is pretty cool. And you can unlock different characters and outfits – took me a while to figure that part out but it’s a nice touch.

Look, if you’re into rhythm games and Star Wars, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
