So here's my take on Funky Maker: Mobile!. I've tested a bunch of rhythm/music games and this one's pretty solid. The level editor is fun and surprisingly powerful, and there's a ton of user-created content to download and play. And the gameplay loop of catching the beats is really satisfying, though it can get a bit repetitive after a while. I also found the progression to be a little slow, with upgrades taking forever at the higher levels. But for a free game, it's definitely worth a download if you're into that kind of thing.

Description

Been playing Funky Maker: Mobile! for a couple months now. It’s basically a rhythm-based game where you design and play your own musical levels. You can download levels made by other players too, which is pretty cool. The goal is to catch arrows to the beat of the music and rack up high scores.

There’s a level editor where you can create your own crazy levels and share them with friends. And it’s got a pretty intuitive interface – took me a little while to figure it out but once I got the hang of it, it’s easy to use. And you can even submit your creations to the game servers so the whole world can play them.

Look, if you’re into rhythm games and making your own content, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it’s a solid app that does the job. Worth checking out for sure.
