So here's my honest take on inReverse - Backwards Karaoke. I've tested a bunch of music and party games and this one's pretty solid. The reversed singing mechanic is really unique and can lead to some hilarious moments, especially with a group. The production values are good too - the graphics look great and it runs smoothly even on my older phone. My only real complaints are that it can get repetitive after a while and the upgrade system is a bit grindy, but otherwise it's a fun little app that I keep coming back to.

Description

Been playing inReverse – Backwards Karaoke for a couple months now. It’s basically a music guessing game where you take turns recording snippets of songs and trying to repeat them backwards. Sounds kinda crazy but it’s actually pretty fun, especially if you’ve got a group of friends at a party or something.

Here’s what you do: one player records a short a cappella clip of a song, then the other player has to try and repeat it backwards, making all sorts of silly noises in the process. Once they’ve recorded all the fragments, they listen to the full reversed version and try to guess the original song. There’s also a leaderboard so you can compete with others – took me a while to figure that out but it’s a cool feature.

Look, if you’re into music and party games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out for sure.
