So here's my honest take on DesignVille: Merge & Design. I've tested a bunch of home design and puzzle games, and this one's a pretty solid option. The graphics and animations are great, and the core merge gameplay is addictive without being too complicated. The home decoration part is fun too, even though it took me a bit to figure out. The downsides are that it can get a little repetitive after a while, and the monetization with ads and upgrades is a bit aggressive. But if you don't mind that, it's a pretty good time-killer that scratches that home makeover itch.

Pros

  • Awesome graphics and animations that bring the design projects to life
  • Merge puzzle gameplay is easy to learn but has strategic depth
  • Tons of home decoration options to let your creativity run wild
  • Free to play, don't need to spend money to enjoy the core experience

Cons

  • Upgrades and progression can get really grindy at higher levels
  • Ads are pretty frequent and can get annoying if you don't pay
  • Starts to feel repetitive after playing for a long time

Description

Been playing DesignVille: Merge & Design for a couple months now. It’s basically a match-3 style game where you design and decorate homes for different clients. There’s this whole story with fun characters, and you’ve gotta complete renovation orders and create unique designs for each room. It’s got some pretty cool animation and graphics that make it satisfying to play.

Here’s what you do: you match and merge tiles to craft better tools and rare items. There’s also a bunch of home decoration options – you can rearrange furniture and decor however you want. Took me a while to figure some of that out, but it’s a pretty relaxing experience overall.

Look, if you’re into casual puzzle games and home design, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever at higher levels and the ads get a bit annoying. But overall it does the job and it’s worth checking out if you’re bored.
