Been playing Doom & Destiny for a couple months now. It’s basically an offline, old-school RPG where you play as a group of nerds who get dragged into a fantasy world. There’s magic, dungeons, pizza, and a ton of funny jokes – basically everything you’d expect from a game made for RPG and nerd fans.
The story is pretty great and there’s over 20 hours of content, plus another 20 hours of side quests and extra adventures. The combat is turn-based and easy to get the hang of. You can even change up your party order to apply special bonuses. With 100 levels to grind and over 200 powers and spells, there’s plenty to keep you busy.
Look, if you’re into retro RPGs and don’t mind a bit of cheesy humor, you’ll probably love this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can get a bit grindy at higher levels – but overall it’s a solid, fun game that doesn’t try to nickel and dime you. Worth checking out for sure.
