So here's my take on DRAGON QUEST IV. I've tested a bunch of mobile strategy games and this one stands out for its nice blend of depth and accessibility. The core loop of building up your village and battling other players is really addictive, and I like the fantasy RPG theme. It's free-to-play but doesn't feel too pay-to-win, at least in the early/mid game. The main downside is that it can get grindy and repetitive after a while, but if you're looking for a deep, well-polished strategy game, this is a pretty good option.

Description

Been playing DRAGON QUEST IV for a couple months now. It’s basically a fantasy RPG where you build up your village, train an army, and battle against other players. Pretty addicting stuff if you’re into strategy games.

The core gameplay loop is simple – you collect resources, upgrade your buildings and troops, then go raid other players’ villages. There’s also a story mode with different chapters, each focusing on a new set of characters. Doesn’t take itself too seriously which I like. The graphics look great and it runs smoothly even on my older phone.

Look, if you’re a fan of games like Clash of Clans, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the upgrade times get pretty ridiculous at higher levels and the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it’s a solid time-killer that I’d recommend checking out.
