I've tested a bunch of action RPGs on mobile and Children of Morta is one of the better ones. The whole family-based angle is really cool and gives you a lot more variety in playstyles compared to just controlling one character. And the graphics are great, the combat feels satisfying, and there's a surprising amount of strategic depth to how you build up your heroes. Sure, it has some issues like the grindy progression and intrusive ads, but overall I'd say it's a pretty solid package. If you're looking for an addictive dungeon crawler with a unique twist, definitely give this one a try.

Description

Been playing Children of Morta for a couple months now. It’s basically an action RPG where you hack and slash your way through dungeons and lands that are all procedurally generated. The cool thing is you don’t just play one character – you control an entire family of heroes, each with their own unique abilities.

There’s tons of stuff to do – you can upgrade your characters, take on challenging boss battles, and team up with friends to take down enemy clans. The story is pretty engaging too, all about this family standing up to the darkness. Sure, it gets a little repetitive after a while, but overall it’s a pretty solid game.

Look, if you’re into action RPGs, you’ll probably get a kick out of Children of Morta. It’s not perfect – the upgrade grind can be a pain and the ads can get annoying. But it’s free to play and definitely worth checking out, especially if you want a game with a bit more depth than your average mobile title.
