Been playing DRAGON QUEST V for a couple months now. It’s basically a classic JRPG where you build up your village, recruit monsters to your party, and go on a grand adventure spanning three generations. Pretty solid game if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: You start off as a young kid traveling with your dad, but over time you grow up, get married, and have a family of your own. There’s also a ton of story and character development – it’s got an epic feel to it. And the combat is turn-based but with some neat strategic elements, like being able to recruit monsters to fight alongside you.
Look, if you’re a DRAGON QUEST fan or just like in-depth RPGs, you’ll probably love this. It’s not perfect – the pacing can be slow at times and the graphics are a bit dated – but overall it does the job. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a meaty, old-school JRPG experience on your phone.
