So here's my honest take on Reverse: 1999 - 2nd Anniv.. I've tested a bunch of strategy games and this one's pretty good. And the core gameplay loop of building up your village and raiding others is really addictive, and the clan battles add a fun social element. But it's not without its flaws - the progression can get grindy at higher levels, and the repetition starts to set in after a while. Still, if you're looking for a solid free-to-play strategy game, this is one I'd recommend giving a shot.

Description

Been playing Reverse: 1999 – 2nd Anniv. for a couple months now. It’s basically a 20th century time travel strategy RPG where you build up your village and raid other players. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kinda thing.

Here’s what you do: there’s a main story mode where you progress through the timeline, plus you can team up with friends in clans and battle other players. And it’s got a ton of strategic depth without being too overwhelming. And the graphics look great and run smoothly even on older phones.

Look, if you’re into strategy games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and it can get a bit repetitive after a while. But overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an addictive time-sink of an app.
