So here's my honest take on Woodturning. I've tested a bunch of simulation games and this one's actually pretty solid. The woodturning mechanics are satisfying and there's a good amount of depth without being overwhelming. And the graphics look great and it runs smoothly even on my older phone. The best part is it's free to play - you don't need to spend money to enjoy the core experience. But it does get a bit repetitive after a while and those upgrade timers can be brutal if you don't pay. Still, if you're into this kind of game, I'd say it's worth giving Woodturning a shot.

Description

Been using Woodturning for a couple months now. It’s basically a woodworking simulator game where you take orders to turn pieces of wood into different shapes. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: You get an order to make a certain shape or object, and you use the woodturning tools to carve, sand, and paint the wood. There’s also a bunch of customization options – you can add your own designs and stencils. It’s got a nice progression system where you earn money to upgrade your workshop.

Look, if you’re into crafting and DIY type apps, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it does the job and is worth checking out.
