Been playing Osmos for a couple months now. It’s basically a physics-based strategy game where you have to absorb smaller organisms to grow bigger. But watch out for the bigger predators – you’ll have to eject matter to move around, which shrinks you down. There’s a bunch of different game modes like floating playgrounds and competitive petri dishes. It’s got a really cool ambient soundtrack too.
The core gameplay is pretty simple but there’s a lot of strategic depth. You can team up with friends in clans and battle other clans, which is where the game really shines. It takes some getting used to but once you figure it out, it’s super addicting.
Look, if you’re into strategy/survival games, you’ll probably really enjoy Osmos. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and it can get a bit repetitive after a while. But overall it’s a solid game that’s free to play, so worth checking out.
