Been playing Hoop Land for a couple months now. It’s basically a 2D basketball game where you can play, spectate, or simulate full games. There’s a bunch of different leagues and modes to mess around with.
The gameplay is pretty solid – it’s got all the classic basketball moves like ankle breakers, spin moves, alley-oops, and more. And the physics are legit, so each shot feels unpredictable. You can also create your own player and work your way up from high school to the pros, which is kind of cool.
Look, if you’re a fan of retro basketball games, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the progression can get a little grindy at higher levels – but overall it’s a pretty fun time. Worth checking out for sure.
