I've tested a bunch of fishing games on my phone and Fishing Planet is definitely one of the better ones. The graphics and physics are really impressive - it feels just like the real thing. And the online multiplayer is cool, and I like how there's different tournaments and leaderboards to compete in. The only downside is that it can get repetitive after a while, and the free-to-play grind starts to show at higher levels. But for a casual fishing fix, Fishing Planet is a great option.

Description

Been playing Fishing Planet for a couple months now. It’s basically a super realistic fishing game where you can go online and fish with friends. The graphics are great and it’s got tons of different fish species to catch, all with their own behaviors based on the weather, time of day, and stuff like that.

The main thing you do is just fish, but there’s also online tournaments and leaderboards so you can compete with other players. There’s a ton of different rods, baits, and tackle you can use to up your game. Takes some getting used to but it’s pretty satisfying when you finally land that big one.

Look, if you’re into fishing or just want a chill game to play, Fishing Planet is worth checking out. It’s free-to-play so you don’t have to spend money, though the upgrades and stuff can get grindy after a while. Overall though, it’s a pretty solid fishing sim that delivers on the realism.
