So here's my honest take on Carthage: Bellum Punicum. I've tested a bunch of strategy games and this one's pretty solid. I like the historical setting and the campaign mode is engaging, with lots of different battles and challenges to keep things interesting. The custom battle mode is cool too, gives you a chance to experiment. But I will say, the progression can get a bit grindy at higher levels, and the ads can be annoying if you don't pay. Overall though, I'd say it's a pretty good option for strategy fans looking for their next mobile fix.

Description

Been playing Carthage: Bellum Punicum for a couple months now. It’s basically a strategy game where you lead Hannibal’s army against Rome in the Second Punic War. Pretty solid app if you’re into this kinda thing.

Here’s what you do: you can play through a campaign mode with 19 historical battles, or set up your own custom battles. And there’s also a multiplayer mode where you can team up with friends in clan wars. Took me a while to figure out all the different features but it’s got a lot of strategic depth without being too overwhelming.

Look, if you’re a fan of strategy games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and it can get a bit repetitive after a while – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a new strategy game to sink your teeth into.
