So here's my honest take on Wingspan: The Board Game. I've tested a bunch of strategy apps and this one's right up there with the best. The gameplay is super satisfying, with tons of depth in how you build out your bird sanctuary. And it's not an in-your-face, high-intensity kind of game - more of a relaxed, thoughtful experience. But that's part of what I like about it. The production values are also top-notch, with beautiful art and great UI. Only real downside is it can get a little stale after a while, but overall it's a winner in my book.

Description

Been playing Wingspan: The Board Game for a couple months now. It’s basically a strategy card game where you’re a bird enthusiast trying to attract the best birds to your nature preserve. Pretty relaxing and satisfying to build up your collection of feathered friends.

There’s a bunch of different birds you can play, each with their own abilities that trigger cool combos in your habitats. And you start with a few basic birds and then try to expand your network by playing new ones that synergize well. It’s got a really polished, almost zen-like vibe to it.

Look, if you’re into strategy games and don’t mind a bit of a learning curve, you’ll probably dig Wingspan. It’s not perfect – can get a little repetitive after a while – but overall it’s a solid experience that scratches that itch for me. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a fresh take on the genre.

Good, BUT needs a zoom (pinch zoom) or magnifier. There is a lot of fine print. Changing the text size would mess up the game's look and layout, so being...

I love the game itself (played the boardgame first) but the app is buggy. I play on either a stable wifi or stable 5g connection but when playing online multiplayer...
