I've tested a bunch of match-3 games and Flower Joy is one of the better ones in my opinion. The core gameplay loop is really solid - the matches feel rewarding and there's a good amount of strategic depth in chaining combos and using the power-ups. The visuals are also top-notch, with these beautiful, living gardens that really draw you in. The only downside is that it can get a bit repetitive after a while, and the progression does feel a little grindy if you don't shell out for IAPs. But overall, it's a pretty polished, casual puzzler that's great for short sessions.

Description

Been playing Flower Joy for a couple months now. It’s basically a match-3 game where you connect flower petals to restore color to these beautiful garden levels. Honestly, the graphics are really nice – you feel like you’re in this whimsical, floral fairytale world.

So the way it works is you just tap on clusters of the same color petals to make matches. There’s also these special power-up flower boosters you can activate. And the levels get progressively more challenging as you go, with new types of flowers and obstacles to deal with. It’s pretty satisfying once you start chaining combos together.

Look, if you’re into relaxing, casual puzzle games, you’ll probably enjoy this. It’s not the most original match-3 out there, but it does the job really well. The serene vibe and lovely art style make it a nice escape. Just be aware that the free-to-play model means there are ads, and upgrading takes a lot of time if you don’t pay.
