So here's my honest take on LetraKid PRO: Cursive Writing. I've tested a bunch of educational apps for kids and this one's pretty good. The visual design is really polished and the activities are well-designed to teach proper letter formation. And compared to other cursive apps I've tried, this one's got more variety and progression. But it's not without its issues - the ads can get obtrusive unless you pay, and it does get a bit repetitive after a while. Overall though, I'd say it's a solid option if you're looking to help your young kids learn cursive writing in a fun way.

Description

I’ve been using LetraKid PRO: Cursive Writing for a couple months now. It’s basically an educational game that helps kids learn to write cursive letters. Pretty solid app if you’ve got little ones who need to practice their handwriting.

Here’s what you do: there are different levels of tracing and freehand exercises for letters, numbers, and shapes. It’s got cool animation and sound effects to make it fun. And the difficulty ramps up as you progress – starts easy with guides and then you’ve gotta do it all yourself. Took me a while to figure out all the features but they’re pretty useful.

Look, if you’ve got a 4-8 year old who needs help with cursive writing, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get kinda annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it does the job and makes practicing handwriting a lot more engaging for kids.
