I’ve been using Mega Bass: Real Bass Guitar for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you play the bass guitar on your smartphone or tablet. Pretty solid app if you’re into music and want to jam out on the go.
Here’s what you do: there’s a full virtual bass guitar interface where you can pluck the strings and play along with different music loops. It’s got high-quality sounds that actually sound like a real bass. And there’s a bunch of lessons and tutorials to help you learn how to play – took me a while to figure some of that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re into music apps or just want to mess around with a virtual instrument, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re a bassist or just want to learn.
