So here's my take on Touhou FancyLive. I've tested a bunch of rhythm games and this one is definitely up there. The simple tap-and-hold controls make it easy to pick up, but there's a ton of depth and challenge for players who want to really master the songs. The graphics and music are great, and I like how it has different gameplay modes to mix things up. The main downside is that the difficulty can get a little unforgiving at higher levels. But overall, it's a really polished rhythm game that I'd recommend to any music game fans.

Description

Been playing Touhou FancyLive for a couple months now. It’s basically a rhythm game where you tap notes flowing in five lanes to the beat of the music. The controls are pretty simple – you just tap and hold the notes. But don’t let that fool you, the scoring can get pretty challenging, especially for experienced rhythm game players.

Here’s what you do: there are different songs and modes you can play. You’ve got your basic rhythm levels, but there are also boss battles and other fun stuff. It’s got a cute anime-style vibe which I dig. Took me a while to get the hang of some of the harder songs, but it’s super satisfying when you nail a tough section.

Look, if you’re into rhythm games, you’ll probably really enjoy this. It’s not perfect – the difficulty spikes can be a bit much at times – but overall it’s a solid music game. Worth checking out, especially since it’s free to play.
