I've tested a bunch of different strategy and simulation games, and U-Boat Simulator is one of the better ones I've come across. It's got a ton of depth without being overly complicated, and the realistic WWII setting is a nice change of pace from the usual fantasy or sci-fi stuff. The graphics look great and it runs well even on older phones. My only real gripe is that the progression can get a bit grindy at higher levels, but it's free to play so you don't have to spend money to enjoy it. Overall, a pretty solid experience for strategy fans.

Description

Been playing U-Boat Simulator for a couple months now. It’s basically a realistic game where you control a German U-Boat during World War 2. Pretty cool if you’re into that kind of thing.

The main gameplay is all about searching for and sinking enemy ships with your torpedoes. There’s also options to make the game more challenging, like dealing with mechanical issues or navigating tricky conditions. You can even look around the sub in 3D views which is a neat touch.

Look, if you’re into strategy and simulation games, you’ll probably get a kick out of this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades and progression can take forever at higher levels – but overall it does a solid job of scratching that WWII submarine itch. Worth checking out for sure.
