So here's my honest take on Horse Race Manager Pro. I've tested a bunch of sports management sims and this one's one of the better ones. The gameplay loop of building up your team, picking the right horses for each race, and competing against rival stables is really engaging. The graphics look nice and the controls are pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it. But it's not without its issues - the grind to upgrade your facilities can get old after a while, and the AI opponents don't always make the best decisions. Still, if you're a fan of this genre, I'd say Horse Race Manager Pro is worth checking out.

  • Tons of strategic depth without being overwhelming
  • Graphics look great and run smooth on older phones
  • Free to play, don't need to spend money to enjoy it
  • Clan battles add a fun social element
  • Decent variety of horses, jockeys, and upgrades to tinker with

Cons

  • Upgrades take forever at higher levels
  • AI opponents can be frustratingly dumb at times
  • Gets repetitive after playing for a while
  • Ads can be annoying if you don't pay

Description

I’ve been playing Horse Race Manager Pro for a couple months now. It’s basically a horse racing simulation game where you manage your own team of horses and jockeys. The goal is to win races and climb to the top of the league standings to earn money and keep your team going season after season.

There’s 9 teams total, each with 2 starting horses. You can train up your horses, hire better jockeys, and upgrade your facilities to give your team an edge. The gameplay is all about managing your resources – deciding which races to enter, which horses to rest, and how to spend your winnings. There’s also a clan feature where you can team up with friends to take on rival groups in big tournaments.

Look, if you’re into strategy games and horse racing, you’ll probably get a kick out of this. It’s not perfect – the upgrade system is a bit grindy and the AI can be frustrating at times – but overall it does a pretty solid job of capturing the excitement of running a successful racing stable. Worth checking out for sure.
