So here's my honest take on Great Big War Game. I've tested a bunch of mobile strategy games and this one's pretty solid. The graphics look great and it runs smoothly even on older phones. There's a ton of strategic depth with all the different unit types and abilities, but it doesn't feel overwhelming. The campaign mode will keep you busy for a long time. My only real issues are that the upgrade system gets grindy after a while, and the ads can be a bit annoying if you don't pay. But it's free to play and you don't need to spend money to enjoy it, so I'd say it's worth giving a shot if you're a fan of the genre.

Description

Been playing Great Big War Game for a couple months now. It’s basically a strategy game where you build up your village, train troops, and battle against other players. Pretty solid app if you’re into this kind of stuff.

Here’s what you do: you can build all sorts of units – tanks, planes, ships, the works. And there’s a big campaign mode with like 50 missions, which is pretty cool. You can also just jump into quick skirmish matches against the AI anytime. Took me a while to figure out all the different unit types and abilities, but it’s not too complicated.

Look, if you’re a fan of strategy games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and it can get a little repetitive after a while. But overall it does the job and it’s free to play, so worth checking out.
