So here's my honest take on Texaco. I've tested a bunch of strategy games on mobile and this one's definitely up there. The combat and base-building mechanics are really solid, and I like the clan system where you team up with friends. The graphics look great and it runs smoothly even on my older phone. The free-to-play model is pretty fair too - you don't need to spend money to enjoy it. But it does get a little repetitive after a while, and the upgrade times can be a drag at higher levels. Overall though, it's a really polished and addictive strategy game that I'd recommend checking out.

Description

Been using the Texaco app for a couple months now. It’s basically a mobile game where you build up your own little village and then team up with friends to raid other players’ bases. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of strategy/combat stuff.

Here’s what you do: you start off by building up your village, upgrading your defenses, training troops, and all that. And there’s also a Rewards program where you can earn points for buying gas and stuff – that’s pretty cool. And you can join a clan and work together to take down other clans, which is the main draw for me.

Look, if you’re into mobile strategy games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a new game to sink your teeth into.
