Been using FloraQuest: Carolinas, Georgia for a couple months now. It’s basically a plant identification app that covers over 5,800 wildflowers, trees, and other plants in those 3 states. Pretty solid if you’re into botany and nature stuff.
Here’s what you can do – you can use the built-in plant keys and photos to identify plants you come across. There’s also an offline plant guide so you don’t need internet. And the app’s got a ‘Botanical Explorer’ feature that helps you find cool plant sites in the region. Took me a while to figure some of that out but it’s all pretty useful.
Look, if you’re into plants and the outdoors, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you spend time hiking or gardening in the Carolinas and Georgia.
