So here's my honest take on Square Point of Sale: Payment. I've tested a bunch of mobile payments apps and this one's pretty good overall. It's got a ton of features that make it easy to process all kinds of payments, whether it's in person, online, or over the phone. The different industry-specific modes are a nice touch. But the setup can be a little tricky if you're not super tech-savvy. And I found the interface could use a bit of polish in spots. Still, for the price (it's free to use), it's a solid option worth considering if you run a small business.

Description

Been using Square Point of Sale: Payment for a couple months now. It’s basically a payments app for businesses – whether you’re a retailer, restaurant, or service provider, you can use it to process all kinds of payments, from credit cards to digital wallets. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you can take payments in person, online, or over the phone. There’s a bunch of different modes tailored to different industries, which is cool. And you can accept all the major payment types – credit/debit cards, cash, mobile wallets, QR codes, the works. Took me a while to figure out all the features but it’s pretty user-friendly.

Look, if you’re running a small business, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the onboarding process can be a bit confusing at first – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a payments solution.
