Been using Handshake Jobs & New Careers for a couple months now. It’s basically a career-focused social network where you can search for jobs, build your profile, and connect with other people in your industry. Pretty solid app if you’re looking to start or restart your career.
Here’s what you do: you can browse through personalized job recommendations, apply for openings, and even message people at companies you’re interested in. There’s also a bunch of career advice posts and videos from people who’ve been there, which is pretty cool. And you can join groups and events related to your career goals – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re job hunting or exploring new career paths, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the app can be a bit buggy sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
