So here's my honest take on Zoom Workplace for Intune. I've tested a bunch of mobile device management apps and this one's pretty good. The core features work well and it's got a nice suite of collaboration tools. But the setup can be a pain, especially if you've got a complex BYOD environment. And the learning curve is a bit steeper than I'd like. Overall though, it's a solid option if you need to protect corporate data while keeping employees connected.

Pros

  • Tons of features for managing BYOD devices
  • Integrates well with other Zoom apps
  • Decent security and data protection
  • Collaboration tools are pretty slick
  • Free to use for Intune customers

Cons

  • Setup and configuration can be a headache
  • Interface is a bit cluttered and confusing at first
  • Enterprise pricing may be too high for smaller teams
  • Requires Intune subscription, not standalone

Description

Been using Zoom Workplace for Intune for a couple months now. It’s basically a mobile app that helps IT admins manage BYOD devices and protect company data. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kinda thing.

Here’s what you do: you can connect all your work apps like chat, meetings, calendar and more. And there’s also AI-powered features that are pretty cool. And you can collaborate with your team on whiteboards and share notes – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re an IT admin dealing with a BYOD environment, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the setup can be a bit of a hassle – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
