So here's my take on TurboScan™: PDF scanner. I've tried out a bunch of scanner apps and this one's pretty solid. The automatic edge detection and enhancement features work really well, and I like the simple one-screen controls for brightness, rotation, etc. And the interface is user-friendly too. My only gripe is the 3 scan limit on the free version - I ended up paying for the full app to get unlimited scans. But for most people, the free version will probably do the trick.

Description

Been using TurboScan™: PDF scanner for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you turn your phone into a full-featured document scanner. Pretty solid if you’re always needing to scan receipts, notes, whiteboards, or other stuff.

Here’s what you can do – you just take a picture of the document and it automatically detects the edges, straightens it out, and gives you a high quality PDF or JPEG file. There’s also some cool editing tools like one-tap brightness, rotation, and color adjustments. Really handy.

Look, if you’re always needing to scan stuff on the go, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the free version limits you to 3 scans per month – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

I tried scanning the same one page two different times. First time ended up with a circular spatter of blacklight fluoresce around the outer third of the page (which was...
