So here's my honest take on Comic Book Value Scanner. I've tested a bunch of comic book apps and this one's pretty solid. The scanning feature works really well and the pricing info is super helpful if you're trying to figure out the value of your collection. And the UI is clean and intuitive too. On the downside, I do find the ads to be a bit intrusive, and the higher tier subscription is a little pricey in my opinion. But if you're a dedicated comic book collector, I'd say it's worth putting up with those minor annoyances.

Cons

  • Ads can be kinda annoying if you don't pay for the premium version

Description

Been using Comic Book Value Scanner for a couple months now. It’s basically a comic book scanner and price guide app. Pretty solid if you’re into comic books and collecting.

Here’s what you do: Just point your camera at any comic book cover and the app will instantly identify all the details – title, author, publisher, release date, and more. And there’s also a huge database of comic book values, so you can look up what your issues might be worth. And you can even track your whole collection in the app, which is pretty cool.

Look, if you’re a comic book fan, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get kinda annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job of being a one-stop-shop comic book companion. Worth checking out for sure.
