Been using My SafeLink for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you manage your SafeLink Wireless account from your phone. Pretty solid if you’re on the SafeLink Lifeline program.
Here’s what you can do: you can upgrade and activate your device, buy paid plans, recertify your service, check your balance, contact customer care, and find a local retail location. There’s also a lockscreen widget which is pretty convenient. Took me a little while to figure out how to use that at first, but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re a SafeLink customer, you’ll probably find this app helpful. It’s not perfect – the app can be a little glitchy sometimes – but overall it gets the job done. Worth checking out if you want an easy way to manage your account.
