So here's my take on onX Hunt: Offline Hunting Maps. I've tested a bunch of outdoor/navigation apps and this one's up there. The topo maps are super detailed and the offline mode is a lifesaver when you're way out there. The land ownership data is also really handy for knowing where you can and can't hunt. On the downside, the app can be a bit slow sometimes and the learning curve is a little steep. But if you spend a lot of time in the wilderness, this is a pretty solid option.

Description

Been using onX Hunt: Offline Hunting Maps for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you plan and navigate your next hunting trip. There’s topo maps, GPS, and all kinds of data on land ownership, wildlife, and more. Pretty solid if you’re into hunting or just exploring the outdoors.

Here’s what you can do – you can view detailed topo maps, mark waypoints, and measure distances. It’s got offline maps too so you can go remote without losing navigation. And there’s cool features like seeing property lines and finding hunting areas based on the animal you’re after.

Look, if you spend a lot of time hunting or just enjoy the outdoors, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job and has some really useful tools. Worth checking out for sure.

I couldn't figure it out during the introductory phase, so there is no way I'm commiting to an in-app purchase to find some value. Clearly there is plenty of data,...
